Redkite is currently actively looking for multiple candidates, over four roles:
Business Intelligence Manager - Client Project Delivery. Please find out more and apply here.
Senior Analyst - Business Intelligence. Please find out more and apply here.
Senior Data Engineer. Please apply directly here.
We also accept speculative applications, particularly from Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
Redkite is a boutique consulting firm with a focus on using data to drive business growth.
We combine state of the art tools with a relentless drive to add outsized benefit to our clients.
We believe in getting the data fundamentals right and avoid over complicating projects by working in an agile way.
We’re a growing firm that moves fast and focuses on results.
The team is down-to-earth, friendly and open.
We firmly believe that Redkite will only grow if each member of the team grows, as a result we take training, development and knowledge sharing very seriously.
We look for curious problem solvers.
Many of our analysts learnt languages like SQL/Python/R out of a want to understand how something ‘ticks’ - having an itch that doesn’t go away until they understand why something behaves the way it does.
Learning the fundamentals of a language isn’t enough - all the team strive to continually improve and work at mastering their craft. They take deep satisfaction in teaching and learning from others - even when it can be frustrating at times, especially if someone shows you how to drastically optimise your code.
Our team are good communicators - easily switching from a strategic conversation with a busy CEO to a highly technical conversation with a client back-end engineer. They can turn complex and unstructured business problems into clear and impactful actions.
We also expect all our team to have the highest levels of integrity, honesty and humility
We have a range of roles open, so the requirements below are general. Please email us with any question, no matter how small or large.
Whilst every client is different and the state of the art moves quickly - we often find that a Kimball dimensional model, sitting on Snowflake database with a Looker front end works very well. We also like working with the Microsoft Azure Stack, as well as with BigQuery, Segment, Snowplough, Stitch, Fivetran, Power BI and Mode.
We don’t expect new team members to have covered all the tools we work with and are set up to give training and support.
Need to have:
- At least two years experience in a data role (analyst, data scientist or data engineer)
- Strong competency in at least one of the following: SQL, R, Python
- A results oriented mindset with a strong eye for detail
- Comfort with some travel to clients
- Right to work in the UK (we can’t currently sponsor visas)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Looker/Power BI/Mode/Tableau
- Experience with Snowflake/Azure Databases/BigQuery/Redshift
- Experience working with an engineering mindset (Agile development, Git, Jira)
- Strong Excel skills
We’re small, flexible and we move fast.
You won’t have a 30 step interview process with 15 different people - email us questions or your CV at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact one of the directors directly - we’ll get back to you fast and respect your time.
Typically you can expect three steps: a 30min introduction with one or both of the directors, a 45min formal interview followed by a numeracy & critical reasoning test and in some cases a data test (to focus on your prioritisation, presentation and data manipulation skills). This will vary for roles like Data Engineering.
A great company reflects the wonderful diversity of the world in which we live. We have no judgement on any of the things that make you you - be that your religion, sexuality, race, gender or even if you use tabs over spaces.
